Day-To-Day Itinerary

Day 01 Home / Beijing
Transfer via: TBA, on your own arrangement.
Upon arrival in Beijing, Our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. As the capital of China, Beijing has a long history with an abundance of historical and cultural heritage-you cannot tear yourself away!
The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.

Day 02 Beijing (B/L)
Start your Beijing exploration with first visit to the largest public square in the world: Tiananmen Square. Next, stroll through the largest and the best preserved Imperial Palace in the world: the Forbidden City. In the afternoon, you will take a short drive to the Temple of Heaven, which was built specifically for worship of heaven and prayers for good harvests during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Day 03 Beijing (B/L)
After breakfast, drive about one hour to Badaling Great Wall, China's most spectacular sight extending more than 3,700 miles across China and most often visited for China tour. It is one of the best preserved sections and the highest point of the Great Wall.
After lunch you also visit one of the Mind Tombs. Ming Tombs are the general names for the mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), located 50 kilometers north from Beijing City. They were fully recognized by UNESCO's World Heritage Committee in 2000.

Day 04 Beijing - Xi'an (B/L)
Morning tour to Hutongs by rickshaw. Take an afternoon flight to Xi'an. Arrive in Xi'an. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 05 Xi'an (B/L)
Enjoy a magnificent day of sightseeing what has been called the 8th Wonder of the World --the Terra Cotta Soldiers Museum, which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. Altogether over 7,000 pottery soldiers, horses, chariots, and even weapons have been unearthed there. After lunch, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China and initially built in 589.

Day 06 Xi'an / Chengdu (B/L)
Visit the Provincial Museum, the Ancient City Wall and the Bell Tower. Take an afternoon flight to Chengdu. Once you arrive in Chengdu, you'll be met & transferred to the hotel with your private guide & vehicle. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 07 Chengdu (B/L)
One day tour of the first visit the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu (Dufu caotang), then the Wuhou Temple, built by Li Xiong in the Western Jin Dynasty (about 1,100 years ago) in memory of Zhuge Liang, prime minister of Shu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms Period(220-80AD). Also include visiting the Panda Research Centre, where many endangered species such as giant pandas, red pandas, and black-necked cranes can be seen, and Wang Jiang Lou Park, a historic site in memory of Xuetao, a female poet of the Tang Dynasty.

Day 08 Chengdu - Chongqing (B/L)
Visit Dujiangyan Irrigation System which was built 2,000 years ago. It was used to irrigate the western Sichuan plain as well as avoiding floods. The next is to visit the Sanxingdui Museum showing monumental bronze images of deities, lively human figures, fantastic ritual vessels, exquisite jades, and spirited ceramic sculptures more than 3,000 years ago. Be transferred to airport and take a flight to Chongqing. Once arrive in Chongqing , you'll be met & transferred to the harbor for boarding the ship.

Day 12 Yangtze River Cruise - Wuhan - Shanghai (B/L)
Excursion on board. Arrive in Wuhan. Disembark and be transferred to Wuhan airport. Take a flight to Shanghai. Once you arrive in Shanghai, you'll be met & transferred to the hotel with your private guide & vehicle. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 13 Shanghai (B/L)
Visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple with a 2m high sitting white Jade Buddha and the 400-year old Yu Yuan Garden. Yu Yuan Garden has quite a few scenic courtyards dotted with baroque rockery, pools and flora, all connected by corridors and passageways and cultural relics. Then proceed to visit the Bund, where the great foreign commercial houses and banks built their imposing office buildings before 1930s. You also have a chance to visit the Shanghai Museum and the famous Nanjing Road among crowds.

Day 14 Shanghai- Home (B)
Free at leisure until to be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
