Day-To-Day Itinerary
Day 01 Home - Shanghai Transfer via: TBA, on your own arrangement. Once you arrive in Shanghai, you'll be met & transferred to the hotel with your private guide & vehicle. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 02 Shanghai (B/L) Visit the famous Jade Buddha Temple with a 2m high sitting white Jade Buddha and the 400-year old Yu Yuan Garden. Yu Yuan Garden has quite a few scenic courtyards dotted with baroque rockery, pools and flora, all connected by corridors and passageways and cultural relics. Then proceed to visit the Bund, where the great foreign commercial houses and banks built their imposing office buildings before 1930s. You also have a chance to visit the Shanghai Museum and the famous Nanjing Road among crowds.
Day 03 Shanghai - Wuhan (B/L) Be transferred to the airport and take flight to Wuhan. Once arrive in Wuhan, you'll be met & transferred to visit the Yellow Crane Tower, located on the south bank of the Yangzi River. In history, the tower has inspired many poets and artists . Then board on the ship for Yangtze River Cruise.

Day 08 Yangtze River Cruise - Chongqing (B/L) Disembark the ship in Chongqing at around 9 am. Our local guide will meet you and escort you to explore some of the city wonders: first to the Ciqikou Ancient Town, one of the key historic districts under conservation in the urban area of Chongqing. Next, pay a visit to Eling Park. It is an ideal place to enjoy views of the Yangtze River and Jialing Rivers and the night views of Chongqing, and also as well as the General Stewell Museum, General Stewell is the chief commander of US forces in the China-Burma-India Theatre during World War II and the Panda at Zoo and People's Hall, a giant traditional building with a large square where plenty of people do morning and evening exercise everyday.
Day 09 Chongqing - Xi'an (B/L) Take a flight to Xi'an. Once you arrive in Xi'an, you'll be met & transferred to your hotel. Visit the Provincial Museum showing you more than 370,000 relics including Bronze wares, terra cotta figures, gold and silver wares and murals with three thousand years, and the Ancient City Wall, also the Bell Tower, which is the most well-preserved and best-known one in China. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 10 Xi'an (B/L) Enjoy a magnificent day of sightseeing what has been called the 8th Wonder of the World --the Terra Cotta Soldiers Museum, which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. Altogether over 7,000 pottery soldiers, horses, chariots, and even weapons have been unearthed there. After lunch, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China and initially built in 589.
Day 11 Xi'an - Beijing (B/L) Be transferred to the airport. Take a flight to Beijing. Once you arrive in Beijing, you'll be met & transferred to your hotel. Visit Hutong by rickshaw.
Day 12 Beijing (B/L) Start your Beijing exploration with first visit to the largest public square in the world: Tiananmen Square. Next, stroll through the largest and the best preserved Imperial Palace in the world: the Forbidden City. In the afternoon, you will take a short drive to the Temple of Heaven, which was built specifically for worship of heaven and prayers for good harvests during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Day 13 Beijing (B/L) After breakfast, drive about one hour to Badaling Great Wall, China's most spectacular sight extending more than 3,700 miles across China and most often visited for China tour. It is one of the best preserved sections and the highest point of the Great Wall. After lunch you also visit one of the Mind Tombs. Ming Tombs are the general names for the mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), located 50 kilometers north from Beijing City. They were fully recognized by UNESCO's World Heritage Committee in 2000.
Day 14 Beijing - Home (B) Free at leisure until to be transferred to the airport for your flight home. |
